Usually not much is going on in the summer but having won the raffle for the sponsorship of the front of the home shirt it’s given me something to keep me connected to the club. I popped down last week to have a chat with the club and Northern Soul Kitchen (NSK) to see what can be done between club and NSK to promote both of them. A few good ideas came out of it and hopefully good things will happen throughout the season. Already we have the club donating £1 to NSK from every home shirt sold so off to a good start. Other bits and bobs.i popped down to the open training session with my dad. My Brother and his wife were already in Berwick for a weekend break so they came along too. Obviously I had to take them to NSK for lunch. Millie served up a lovely soup and a delicious salmon and haddock pasta. We then went off to Shielfield. When we arrived we popped into the JB lounge for a drink and a chat. My brother signed up for pound per point (I signed up online). Next stop the club shop to buy a shirt with the NSK logo and a photo at the St Andrews Berwick Rangers Supporters banner. Then to old Shielfield to watch the training. A bit of pottering around and back to town to drop off my brother and his wife and off back to fife for my dad and I. When i was down I was asked to help out on the door for the Hibs game in July, it’s no doubt going to be busy.
